Ukraine’s scrap exports increase in January-October
Ukrainian enterprises increased exports of ferrous scrap in January-October, according to national customs data.
The volume amounted to 146,900 tonnes, which is 3.89 times more compared to the same period last year, Kallanish notes. In monetary terms, scrap exports for the specified period amounted to $42 million, which is an increase of 2.9 times.
In October alone, scrap exports amounted to 15,800t, up by 13.7% compared to September and 37% on-year.
