Ukraine’s scrap exports increase in January
Ukrainian exports of scrap increased in January despite the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine and blockade of seaports, Kallanish notes.
The country exported 8,280 tonnes of scrap, up by 45.5% on-year. Revenue generated by these shipments decreased by 8.5% to $2.36 million, according to customs data.
