Ukraine consumption, mill shipments decline in January-July

Ukrainian mills reduced finished steel shipments -4.3% on-year in January-July to 8.75 million tonnes, show data published by national steel association Ukrmetallurgprom. Domestic consumption amounted to 2.5mt, of which 644,400 tonnes were imports. Compared to the previous year, domestic consumption increased by 10% on-year, while the share of imports decreased by -10.4%.
