Ukraine’s October semis exports drop, ferroalloys grow
Ukrainian exports of semi-finished products decreased further in October, according to customs data monitored by Kallanish.
The country exported 473,000 tonnes of semi-finished steel, down by 31.4% on-year. Revenue generated by these shipments however increased 22.7% to $317 million. In January-October Ukraine exported 5.83 million tonnes of semis, less by 9.2% on-year, but revenue increased by 52% to $3.5 billion.
