Ukraine February crude steel production rises on-month
Ukraine’s crude steel production rose by 1.7% month-on-month to 1.97 million tonnes in February, according to data released by Ukrainian steelmakers’ association Metallurgprom.
Last month’s pig iron production in the country fell -1.8% to 1.89mt versus January, while rolled products output rose 1.5% to 1.7mt, Kallanish calculates.
