Ukraine semis exports increase, pig iron falls significantly
Ukrainian exports of semi-finished products increased in August despite the ongoing Russian invasion and blockade of seaports, Kallanish notes.
The country exported 121,700 tonnes of semis, up 11.4% compared with July and 38.8% more on-year. Revenue generated by these shipments increased by 1.8% on-month and 5% on-year to $56.5 million, according to customs data.
