Ukraine reduces coke production in January-April
Ukrainian coke plants reduced production of blast furnace coke to 1.9 million tonnes in January-April, down by 41.1% on-year, show national coke-chemical association Ukrkoks data.
In April alone, almost 240,000t of coke were produced, after 179,000t in March, Kallanish notes.
