Ukraine pipemakers increase production, new scrap shortages

Ukraine’s pipemakers increased production in the first half of the year amid the ongoing Russian invasion, says national pipemaker association Ukrtruboprom. Total volume amounted to 126,500 tonnes, up by 5.9% on-year, Kallanish notes. In March alone output reached 57,100t, up 44.6% compared to the previous month and 17.3 times more than in March 2022.
