Ukraine investigates ‘illegal’ scrap export to EU
Ukraine’s State Bureau of Investigations (SBI) is investigating the involvement of Volyn Customs officials in allegedly illegal schemes to export scrap to EU countries on a large scale, Kallanish notes.
Damages to the Ukrainian state are estimated at UAH 350 million ($9.48m).
