Ukraine drives Turkey's April CR flats import rise
Turkey's cold rolled flat steel imports rose 10.6% year-on-year to 116,092 tonnes in April thanks to increased intake from Ukraine. The total average value of these imports decreased to $693/t from $998/t a year ago, Kallanish calculates from the latest Turkish Statistical institute (TUIK) data.
April's CR flats imports climbed up 2% over March, when the rise was supported by imports from Russia.
