UK vehicle production surges in September
UK passenger car output surged in September according to the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT). Production for the home market grew sharply in the month, while export production also rose significantly. Commercial vehicle (CV) output continues to surge supported by both buoyant UK and export demand, SMMT says in a report monitored by Kallanish.
