British Steel recruits 80 new employees
UK longs producer British Steel tells Kallanish that it has taken on around 80 new employees at its Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire site.
It has given permanent contracts to the agency workers who had been performing a variety of roles across the company. The majority of the employees work in the mills and heavy side of the business, UK Steel says.
