UK passenger car output surges again in June
The UK car manufacturing sector saw its best half-year performance since 2000 up to the end of June, according to a report by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) monitored by Kallanish. Commercial vehicle production fell year-on-year in June however, completing a disappointing first half for that sector.
