UK competition authority rules on scrap company acquisition
UK-based scrap processor European Metals Recycling (EMR) has been ordered to sell some of the plants it obtained via the acquisition of fellow scrapper Metal Waste Recycling (MWR) by the UK government. The deal was completed around 12 months ago (see Kallanish 31 August 2017).
