Turkey’s exports to grow even after war: Dalbeler
Turkish steel exports will continue to grow even if the Ukraine war ends in the short term, Turkish Steel Exporters’ Association (CIB) vice president Uğur Dalbeler tells Bloomberg HT.
Steel supply from Russia, the fifth-largest steel producer and second-largest steel exporter in the world, with 38-39 million tonnes/year of steel exports, and Ukraine, with 15-20m t/y of steel exports, has been interrupted following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
