UAE's Emirates Steel issues wire rod prices
Emirates Steel has issued domestic wire rod quotes for mid-February/March rolling.
The benchmark mill settled its new domestic quotes for 6.5-14mm diameter AISI/SAE 1006-1018 grade wire rod at AED 2,424/tonne ($660/t) ex-mill, excluding 5% VAT. This is payable by letter of credit 90 days or cash in advance, Kallanish learns from market sources.
Buyers have been given a deadline to place their orders until noon on Friday, 26 January.
