UAE's Emirates Steel elevates rebar prices
Emirates Steel, the market maker in the United Arab Emirates, has elevated domestic rebar (BS4449:2005 grade GR500B) quotes for February rolling by AED 55/tonne ($15) on January to AED 2,735/t ($745) ex-works theoretical weight.
It has also removed the rebar in coils (8-16mm) premium of AED 36.73/t ($10), which had been added on straight rebar tags, notes Kallanish.
