UAE's Embosal commissions LSAW pipe mill
Embosal has commissioned its phase-2 longitudinal submerged arc welded (LSAW) pipe mill in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, a spokesman for parent Core Metal tells Kallanish.
The 150,000 tonnes/year capacity mill will produce 9 to 60-inch diameter pipe with wall thickness from 6-50mm. Plate feedstock is currently sourced mainly from South Korea and Indonesia. Product will be sold to the Middle East, Europe, Asia and the US.
