UAE's benchmark mill sweeps domestic rebar market
The benchmark mill in the United Arab Emirates has almost swept the rebar market in November before many other mills received bookings from traders.
It sold nearly 140,000-145,000 tonnes of rebar, 30,000-35,000t more than its monthly MoU volumes. The mill offered spot sales, according to market sources, at AED 2,203/tonne ($600) ex-works, and sell-side sources at AED 2,240/t ($610) delivered to the buyer's yard.
