UAE's 2020 ferrous imports decline, India largest supplier
United Arab Emirates imports of ferrous products under HS chapter 72 fell 7.5% on-year in 2020 to 6.05 million tonnes, also declining 17.8% against 2018, according to newly-published data from the UAE Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Authority monitored by Kallanish.
Imports declined faster in the second half-year after they had fallen 4% on-year in H1 2020.
