UAE ferrous exports continue growth despite Covid-19 impact
United Arab Emirates exports of ferrous products under HS chapter 72 grew 4% on-year in 2020 to 3.53 million tonnes, also surging 25% versus 2018, according to newly-published data from the UAE Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Authority monitored by Kallanish.
Exports picked up in the fourth quarter to 1.15mt, accounting for 32.5% of the annual tonnage.
