UAE retail rebar price inches down
In the United Arab Emirates, retail rebar prices for 12-32 mm diameter has softened by AED 30/tonne ($8/t) since last week. Emirates Steel (ESI) material is invoiced at AED 2,470/t ($672.5/t). Other mills’ rebar is meanwhile transacted stable on-week at AED 2,385-2,440/t depending on the payment and tonnage, Kallanish notes.
