UAE rebar retail price gap narrows
In the United Arab Emirates, the retail price gap between benchmark and secondary mill rebar has narrowed. The retail market has not fully digested or recognised the benchmark mill's AED 73/tonne ($20) increase in rebar prices for October deliveries, with only a AED 30-40/t hike being achieved so far, notes Kallanish.
