UAE extends higher import duty on rebar, rod
United Arab Emirates has extended the 10% customs duty on rebar and wire rod imports until 12 October, according to a Dubai Customs notice seen by Kallanish. The duty was previously raised from 5%.
The extension was signed on 3 April by Dubai Customs director general Ahmed Mahboob Musabih.
