UAE HRC market is subdued, awaits November
The United Arab Emirates hot-rolled coil market is subdued this week and is expected to remain so until the end of October.
Indian mills’ are offering re-rolling grade 2mm+ SAE 1006 HRC at $920-935/tonne cfr UAE for December shipment. A Japanese mill, which was not active in the market for a long time, and a Saudi mill, gave indicative offers for the same grade at $940/t cfr and $940/t cpt respectively, Kallanish notes.
