Europe demand surge lifts UAE ferrous exports
United Arab Emirates ferrous products exports under HS chapter 72 grew 69.8% on-year in the first nine months of 2021 to 3.76 million tonnes, from 2.21mt in the same period in 2020. Belgium took 25.5% of UAE’s exports compared to only 7,701t in 2020, according to data from the UAE Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Authority monitored by Kallanish.
