UAE extends import duty on rebar, wire rod
United Arab Emirates has extended its 10% customs duty on rebar and wire rod imports until 7 November 2023, according to a 20 January Dubai Customs notification seen by Kallanish.
UAE increased the customs duty on rebar and wire rod imports to 10% from 5%, effective 17 January 2019 (see Kallanish passim).
This applies to products under HS codes 72131000, 72132000, 72139100, 72139900, 72141010, 72141020, 72141090, 72142010, 72142020, 72142090, 72143010, 72143…
