UAE enforces rebar/rod customs duty hike
United Arab Emirates has implemented the long-touted customs duty increase on rebar and wire rod imports to 10%, effective 17 January, according to a Dubai Customs notification obtained by Kallanish.
The increase from 5% to 10% will apply to products under HS codes 72131000, 72132000, 72139100, 72139900, 72141010, 72141020, 72141090, 72142010, 72142020, 72142090, 72143010, 72143020 and 72143090.
