UAE cabinet suspends regulation on payload limits
The United Arab Emirates cabinet has decided to withdraw the recently announced new regulation on the weight and dimension of heavy vehicles, which added AED 15-20/tonne ($4-5) to the retail price of rebar. According to local sources, a new meeting will be held on 7 March to reconsider the regulation, Kallanish notes.
