U3O8 explores additional Argentina vanadium production
Canadian mineral exploration and development company U3O8 Corp plans to ramp up production of steel alloying agent vanadium at its Laguna Salada deposit in Argentina.
The deposit, originally slated for uranium production, has the potential to produce twice as much vanadium as uranium – up to 800,000-1.2 million pounds/year over the lifetime of the mine.
