China punishes two polluting steelmakers
Southern China's Huainan Hongtai Steel and eastern China's Cangzhou Zhongtie Equipment Manufacturing Company have both reportedly been reprimanded by local governments and central environmental inspection groups. Hongtai Steel restarted production without government permission while Cangzhou Zhongtie was emitting heavy pollution during steel production, Kallanish notes.
