TÜV Süd denies responsibility for Vale dam break
TÜV Süd claims it made Vale aware of risks at the Córrego do Feijão mine shortly before the dam break on 25 January.
The German-based testing group has been cited by investigators for issuing approval for operating the mine as recently as September 2018. TÜV Süd, however, argues it found deficiencies about which it informed Vale.
