Turks move into pole position for British Steel?
Troubled UK longs producer British Steel has been operating under the umbrella of the UK Official Receiver (OR) since falling into financial administration in May. There has however been little formal news emanating from either the Receiver or the company since that time. All the signs now are that a deal is near, with a Turkish company appearing to be the favourite in the acquisition stakes.
