Turkish wire rod quotes rise slightly
Turkish wire rod producers have increased export quotes slightly due to the rise seen in scrap prices. However, demand is heard to be below expectations as buyers find Turkey’s current offer levels too high.
Turkish mills’ mesh-quality wire rod quotes, which stood at $680-690/tonne fob a week earlier, appeared mostly at $690-700/t fob Turkey on Friday. However, higher offer prices are also available from producers that are utilised for longer.
