Turkish wire rod producers gain new export markets
Turkish wire rod exports increased 8% on-year in August to 143,037 tonnes, but declined -30% compared to the previous month, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. Their average price fell to $500/tonne in August versus $510/t in July 2019 and $580/t in August 2018.
