Turkish wire rod exports decline on-year, grow on-month
Turkish wire rod exports continued to decline in August, slumping 24.4% on-year to 150,008 tonnes, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. They were, nevertheless, up from 89,802t in June and 116,009t in July.
Their average price was $694/tonne versus $790/t in August 2021 and $791/t in July 2022.
