Turkish wire rod export prices increase
Global demand for Turkish wire rod was quiet until the end of last week, but Turkish mills nevertheless increased export prices due to the hikes seen in scrap prices. However, following the news of a ceasefire in Turkish military operations in Syria, withdrawal of US sanctions against Turkey, and a Brexit deal agreement, sentiment improved on Friday.
