Turkish wire exports almost halve in February
Turkish wire rod exports continued their slump in February, falling by 45.6% on-year to 50,282 tonnes, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. This is, nevertheless, up from 46,096t in January.
The average price was $699/tonne, versus $825/t in January 2022 and $689/t in December 2022.
