Turkish welded pipe quotes rise, demand resumes
Turkish pipe producers have increased their export quotes due to the further rise in raw material costs and improved demand.
Turkish producers’ electric resistance welded (ERW) pipe made from S235 grade hot rolled coil prices stand mostly at $920-940/tonne fob Turkey theoretical weight. However, both lower and higher quotes are also heard from producers, depending on their utilisation level and raw material inventory costs.
