Turkish welded pipe exports rise in January
Turkish welded pipe exports increased in January, driven by higher shipments to Europe, and the Middle East and North Africa, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
January's welded pipe exports totalled 145,339 tonnes, up 17.4% year-on-year and 22% over December 2016. The total average value/tonne of these exports rose to $654/t from $594/t a year earlier.
