Turkish welded pipe exports rebound in September
Turkish welded pipe exports resumed on-year growth in September after slipping in August. The drop in shipments to the US was offset mainly by increased exports to the UK and Mexico, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
September's exports rose 9% y-o-y to 151,392t. The total average value/tonne of these exports declined to $609/t from $671/t a year ago, calculations from TUIK data show.
