Turkish welded pipe exports halve in April
Turkish welded pipe exports halved on-year to 74,619 tonnes in April, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. Their average value dropped to $741/tonne from $755/t in April 2019 and $771/t from March 2020.
The most-exported product was welded tube under 406.4mm diameter whose shipments fell sharply from 51,681t last year to 23,173t in April. Turkmenistan was the largest destination with 2,654t, up from only 940t last year. Is…
