Turkish welded pipe exports decline on-year in August
Turkish welded pipe exports fell by -2.8% year-on-year to 134,595 tonnes in August. The total average value/tonne of these exports fell to $618/tonne from $667/t a year earlier, Kallanish calculates from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
On a month-on-month basis, however, August's exports increased 38.5% over July.
Iraq remained Turkey's largest export market for welded pipes in August, with a 13% y-o-y rise in shipments to 30,843t.…
