Turkish welded pipe export offers soften
Turkish pipe producers have been forced to decrease their offer prices slightly this week. From $490-510/tonne fob a week ago, quotes have dipped to $480-510/t fob Turkey theoretical weight amid high price pressure from buyers. This is for electric resistance welded (ERW) pipe made from S235 grade hot rolled coil.
Despite the decrease, buyers still find these levels high and are bidding mostly at $460-475/t fob, depending on the quantity.
