Turkish welded pipe export offers rise
Turkish mills have increased pipe export offer prices this week, following the sharp hikes seen in scrap prices.
Turkish pipe producers’ export offers for electric resistance welded (ERW) pipe made from S235 grade hot rolled coil have increased to $525-540/tonne fob theoretical weight from $515-525/t last week. However, offers at below $525/t fob are still available from some suppliers who have favourable production costs.
