Turkish steelmakers hope for improved 2020
The Turkish steel consumption downtrend has halted, according to Turkish Steel Producers’ Association (TCUD) general secretary Veysel Yayan.
“The steel industry was most affected by uncertainty about the future, but we hope that 2020 will be better… We are expecting to see a return from negative to positive in 2020 and a real increase in production," he says.
