Turkish steel rope producer halts production
Çelik Halat, which supplies high-carbon wire and steel wire rope, will halt production for over a month on account of the coronavirus outbreak, the Turkish firm says in a stock exchange filing.
The company says: “Within the scope of the struggle to prevent the spread of the coronavirus epidemic, it was decided to temporarily halt production to protect the health of our employees and to ensure occupational safety.”
