Turkish steel output rebounds in April
Turkish crude steel production rose 2.6% on-year in April to 3.04 million tonnes, rebounding from a -14.5% on-year slump in the first quarter, according to the Turkish Steel Producers Association (TCUD). April output was also up 2% on March.
Electric arc furnace-based output increased 0.9% on-year in April and BOF-based production rose 6.6%.
