Japan deal seen slashing Turkish exports to US
Turkish steel executives are concerned that exports to the US could fall by 80% following the US deal to remove the 25% tariff on a certain tonnage of imports from Japan.
The US will allow up to 1.25 million tonnes/year of steel imports from Japan effective 1 April (see Kallanish passim).
