Turkish steel exports soar in April, imports fall
Turkish mills achieved their targeted export increase and import decline in April.
However, producers note that despite the decline in total steel imports in the first four months of the year, intake from the Far East and South Asia regions continued to increase at a high rate of 37%, to 2.8 million tonnes.
